Position: Assistant Manager

Company is a rapidly growing business and an equally rapidly growing & evolving organization. Being an ecommerce company, it is imperative that we drive more and more traffic to the site and ensure that the website and its content can be discovered easily. Search engine optimization plays a very critical role in making this happen by ensuring that relevant content from your website surfaces when a user types in a particular query in any search engine. This position would be for heading the SEO initiatives within company. This person is expected to identify opportunities to improve our traffic from search engines.

Responsibilities:

· Recommend changes to the website in accordance to the guidelines given by search engines and at the same time ensure that customer experience does not get compromised

· Drive changes off-site to generate back-links to the website

· Be abreast with latest developments in the SEO field and make appropriate changes on the website to benefit from the same

· Run experiments periodically to identify new opportunities to boost SEO traffic

Qualification:

B.E / B.Tech with 3-4 years of experience

· Has held positions previously where he / she was responsible for driving more that 5k visits a day through search engines

Competency and skills:

· Good technical understanding of various web technologies such as php, javascripts, html etc.

· Good knowledge of search engine optimization techniques

· Strong analytical skills

· Good communication skills
